Dory Sontheimer graduated in Pharmacy and Optometry at the University of Barcelona and worked as a pharmacist and businesswoman, until in 2002, after the death of her mother, she discovered seven mysterious boxes in the attic of her old room that revealed an astonishing story. This is the story of Catalina Sont (Dory Sontheimer), a Catalan pharmacist and optometrist of German origin who, raised Catholic in Franco's staunchly Roman Catholic Spain, discovers, at the age of 60 and after the death of her parents, the real identity of her family: generations of Jews with a dramatic history of persecution and genocide at the hands of the Nazi regime.
