César Barceló, Clara Berenguer

César Barceló Francés (Banyeres, 1979) has a degree in Fine Art from the Universitat de Valencia. His style, his expressive stroke and reduced palette can be seen in numerous works such as the posters which he has made on several occasions for the festival Jazz en el Botánico de Valencia and for the book fair, Feria del Libro de Valencia 2012. He won the Premio de la Generalitat Valenciana for the best illustrated book in Valencian. Clara Berenguer Revert (Banyeres, 1983) studied History of Art at the Universitat de Valencia. Her studies introduced her to, among others, the illustrations of Lola Anglada for Alice in Wonderland and sparked her interest in children's illustration. Her enthusiasm for illustrated books has led to a deeper involvement in all aspects of children's books and illustation.
