Boniface Ofogo was born and grew up in a small town in the middle of Cameroon. He arrived in Spain in 1988 to study Spanish literatrure and started to work as a storyteller in 1992. He has worked as an intercultural mediator for Madrid City Council. Since 2005 he has worked full time visiting schools, libraries and community centres to tell stories. He specialises in fables, legends, myths and traditional tales from sub-Saharan Africa. He has performed throughout Spain (at Guadalajara's Maratón de Cuentos (Story Marathon), Barcelona's Fórum de las Culturas and the Festivales de Oralidad (Spoken Word Festivals) at Jaca and Elche) and in various other countries including: France, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Cape Verde, Morocco...
Rebeca Luciani has a degree in visual arts from the Facultad de Bellas Artes de Barcelona. She has worked as a book illustrator for publishers in several countries for twenty years. She is also a teacher and delivers illustration workshops in Barcelona.
