Arturo Padilla

Arturo Padilla de Juan was born 2nd August, 1989. He lives in the Montornès del Vallès district of Barcelona where he studied. Since winning the Jordi Sierra i Fabra prize for young writers when he was only 15, Arturo Padilla de Juan has continued to write and also gives talks at various institutions, speaking on themes as diverse as racism, discrimination and bullying - key topics in his first novel - and encouraging youngsters to invest their time in reading and writing. Besides reading and writing he likes to spend time with his family and friends, and swimming. He finds Egypt and its history powerfully fascinating.
