Antoni Dalmases

Antoni Dalmases (Sabadell, 1953) graduated in Hispanic Philology and is a lecturer in Catalan language and literature and regular contributor to the press. He is the author of stories and novels for children and young adults, as well as adult books, for which he has won a number of prizes. In young adult literature, he has written works such as Sivestre Malasang, Temps regirats and Doble Juego, which won the Gran Angular prize in 1993. Books like Les cuques ballaruques and La sargantana Juliana are children’s stories designed to introduce new readers to the pleasure of reading. In 2006 he was awarded the Premi Gran Angular for his novel Yo, el desconocido.
