Alberto Sánchez Argüello y Sonja Wimmer

Alberto Sánchez Argüello (1976) is a writer, blogger and facilitator of processes of organisational development and leadership. He is the founder of the Nicaraguan micro-literary collective, the blogging community Política Mente Incorrecto and the digital book publisher Parafernalia. Awards he has won include the II Central American Children's Literature Competition, and his work has been translated into Portuguese and Italian. Sonja Wimmer (1974) studied graphic design in Munich and illustration in Barcelona. She has published over forty books, that are sold all over the world, and she has won several awards including the prize of honour for the Sydney Taylor Book Award 2020. She also illustrated The Day Saida Arrived for Takatuka, whose English translation (Blue Dot Kids, 2020) was shortlisted for the Jane Addams Children's Book Award (2020).
