Ilustradora
Ainara Azpiazu y Alaine Agirre

I was born in 1980 in Hernani, in the Basque Country. Drawing is my passion and when I finished my sociology studies I decided to work in the world of creation. After passing my second year in Fine Art, I received a job offer which made me decide to take a break from my studies. As a result, I’ve spent the last 5 years working on drawing commissions and giving photography classes, focusing exclusively on drawing and illustration in the last year as this is what I most love to do. Over the years I’ve created comic strips published in Hernaniko Kronika and in the Iritzia (opinion) section of the newspaper Berria. Right now, I’m working on my dream job: illustrating children's books. In 2012-2013, I did a master’s course in book illustration (ARS IN FABULA. MASTER IN ILLUSTRAZIONE PER LA EDITORIA) in Macerata, Italy. I have now published books with various Spanish publishing houses.
