Cristina Expósito Escalona was born in Cádiz (1983) and raised in Las Cabezas de San Juan, a town close to Seville. She has a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville, and a Master's in Applied Linguistics: Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid. She is married with two girls. Motherhood awakened her inner child. She has worked on television as well as teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She is an editor at the family publishing house Alaestrella. She has been writing since she was a child; her mother bought her a newspaper for the first time at the tender age of eight, and she has not stopped writing and reading since then. Her first story was published in the summer of 2016, and she has not stopped writing and publishing ever since. She has more than fifteen titles on the market with different publishing houses.
