Claire is a student at the Paris School of Fine Arts. On one of her visits to the Louvre, she meets Ori, a peculiar boy who stirs a new need in her: to investigate the life of the painter and photographer Asher Dray, a sensitive, sweet and passionate artist whose life was taken away at a very young age because of transphobia. Claire and Ori find the painter's memoirs, where he recounts his arduous journey through the world as a trans boy and the heartbreaking love story of two children who meet again years later. While reading through interviews and love letters, and making surprising discoveries, both become more involved than they could have possibly foreseen in the life of Asher, who will change their way of seeing the world and life forever. A story that speaks of the purest love and the need to be free and to accept that we are diverse.
