Published in 1974, Second Origin Typescript is a classic work of Catalan literature for young adults. It is made up of five chapters called 'notebooks' which describe the fight for survival of two adolescents, Alba and Dídac, in a world that has been completely destroyed. The relationship between the two main characters, their tragic journey and and the question of whether they are the precursors of contemporary civilisation have attracted thousands of young readers for years.
