Celia goes to live in a small town in an effort to leave behind a life of crime and guilt, but her new life is interrupted by the disturbing sounds and smells from the house next door. Paul, her ex-partner, comes responding to her call for help, and they try to discover whatever is hidden behind the neighbor's door. However, a greater shadow hangs over them: the tragic past they share, the ghosts that still haunt them. Old scars are reopened, and bloodshed always starts when the devil whispers to us.
