SYNOPSIS

When professors Thomson, and Ramón y Cajal meet in Stockholm in December 1906 to receive, respectively, the Nobel Prizes for Physics, and Medicine they talk about how the fields their work is opening up: electronics and neuroscience. At that moment their musings are no more than fantasies. However, in 2018 two young scientists, Isabelle and Diego cross paths in Sånga-Säby, the tiny Swiss village that is the location for a scientific meeting organised by the Nobel Foundation. Some time later, they go on to establish a promising neurotechnology business venture called CajalLink. However,
the ambitious project they have been developing is endangered due to the theft of 'neurodata', held on a tiny device the size of a grain of rice implanted at the base of Isabelle's brain.
