Aztec Warriors
Marco Antonio Cervera Obregón (Mexico, 1954) is an archaeologist who has worked at the Mexican National School of Anthropology and History since 2003. Among his principal research interests are archaeology, history and Mexican culture, as well as the military tactics and armaments of antiquity, especially in Mesoamerica and recently in the Mediterranean. He has participated in various research projects such as: the reordering of Mexican collections and restructuring of the Mexican Room of the National Museum of Anthropology, the Fifth Season of the Exploration of the Great Temple Project, and other archaeological research projects in Mexico and Spain.
